Does it require an internet connection? +
No. DiffShot is fully native and works completely offline. Your screenshots never leave your Mac.
What image formats are supported? +
PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, GIF, and WebP. You can drag files directly from Finder or paste from clipboard.
What's the difference between free and Pro? +
The free tier gives you the full diff engine, reveal slider, and all three view modes — the core experience. Pro adds export, annotations, comparison history, and keyboard shortcuts.
Which macOS versions are supported? +
macOS 13 Ventura and later. Works natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
Is this on the Mac App Store? +
Not yet. DiffShot is distributed directly as a signed and notarized DMG. App Store availability is planned for a future release.
